West (Nick D'Agosto) convinces Claire (Hayden Panettiere) to teach head cheerleader Debbie (guest star Dianna Agron) a lesson after it deems too ordinary Claire to join the team. While Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is facing a serious moral dilemma of the company, HRG (Jack Coleman) Russian guardian pays a visit in an effort to find the latest Isaac prophetic paintings. Meanwhile, almost the American border, Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) is becoming increasingly concerned about Sylar (Zachary Quinto) intentions, particularly to Maya (Dania Ramirez). Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Caitlin (Katie Carr) search for a mysterious door he painted ultimately leads to a surprising place. In feudal Japan, while trying to repair history, Hiro (Masi Oka) struggles with his feelings for Kensei's (David Anders) "princess" Yaeko (guest star Eriko Tamura).
